Another lockdown project - still tricky to get materials so focused on using up whatever was in the shed for this small footlocker-type unit for a guest bedroom.

This is sized to fit available space, and contains an integrated power strip to limit cables - there is a standard IEC inlet on the bottom, and thereafter any chargers etc can be hidden inside.

Lighting is via 6mm wide LED neon strip, with a cheap inline controller that provides power and dimming via a small remote control.

The holes in the lids aid removal; I wanted to incorporate them into a woodgrain-type pattern which worked-ish - but maybe needs another iteration.
