Many thanks to interior designer Jane Cappleman for calling me back to her client Susie for this follow-up piece to the previous sideboard.

The brief was to create a cabinet to contain the usual array of TV miscellany; and particularly to hide the large bank of sockets/wires on the wall (as seen in pic 5). Most media units tend to be lower, so wouldn't cover these; on the other hand, I was aiming for something less monolithic than the previous sideboard.

So, with a bit of inspiration from the game table this design - where the legs are longer than the cabinet height - makes for a lighter feeling unit, and the slatted base lends some light/shadow detail.

Finished again in Osmo white oil, for a subtle limed effect. See notes with the pictures for some of the practical issues.
